For MUTAG, a green mindset is not only a matter of environmental awareness and the challenges that presents our company. For us, it is also a matter of efficiency and energy consumption. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our production and protect the environment even further.

At MUTAG we have developed a state-of-the-art solution with our unique Mutag BioChip™, with an active surface area of more than 5,500 m2/m3. It means we can support you with one of the most efficient solutions within water treatment. Because of the high performance, you can minimize the size of your plant/equipment to a minimum, but still extremely efficient. Energy consumption is very low in daily use due to the technology we have developed and proven to be “best in class” over the last 20 years. Energy consumption, when you chose MUTAG and our competent team for advising, is very low and we always strive to optimize and make it even better every day.

Recycled raw materials

At MUTAG we have developed and offer our clients a high-performance solution with our Mutag EcoChip™, produced only based on recycled raw materials. This has been on-going for more than 10 years, and we are pioneers and frontrunners within the field of reusing and use recycled materials, which can be waste from production and industries, collected plastic from the oceans and old used fishing nets. 

Green energy

We support green energy, and all our production units are buying green and co2 free electricity from wind turbines, which means our productions processed are completely free of CO2.
